Sky-high Condo

This 2 bedroom condo was a designer's dream!  The client wanted to personalize the space in an unfussy way.  We added statement light fixtures, wall coverings, key furniture pieces, art, custom cabinetry, and custom pillows to tie this space together.  Stacy Paulson Design was hired to design and install all of the goodies in this space - start to finish.  The end result was a modern and inviting oasis in the sky!  The conceptual design of this space took 6 weeks.  Trades involved included drywall installers, painters, cabinet makers, my local workroom, furniture manufacturers, and wallpaper installers.

Sophisticated Master Bath and Closet

The perfect aster bath and closet all in one.  It was a pleasure to take this dated, poorly laid out room up a notch. Everything was replaced -  flooring, cabinetry, tile, plumbing and electric fixtures, and hardware. Every master bath / closet need was considered; double vanity with recessed mirrored medicine cabinets for extra storage, enlarging and relocating the master shower with a custom bench and shampoo niche, and a stunning built-in closet system with ample shoe storage.  The dramatic use of black was accented with gold hardware and light wood tone cabinetry in the closet area.  Who wouldn't want to get ready for the day in this beautiful room?

Growing Real Estate Office

This was a new construction space that was designed to host working realtors, clients, and company events.  A large glass wall was added to create a much needed private conference room.  Custom sized rugs, dramatic and graphic art, and a live edge slab community table created a modern, unique, multi-functioning space for this fast growing company.

Kitchen Update x Three

This is the third update for this kitchen in the last 17 years.  We kept the cabinet footprint and boxes, but replaced the dated doors with shaker style doors and drawers, allowing for soft close capabilities.  We lowered the bar height top on the island to counter height, making the usable work surface much larger.  New countertops, sink, faucet, lighting updates, and bold paint colors really knocked this one out of the park.  A great photo of this space is on our Before + After page.

A Designer's Space

This is my personal home.   My home office is in the back of the house and  the master bedroom and bath was once a one car garage!  I repaired and refinished the original hardwood floors from 1952.  I upgraded the electric, plumbing, and HVAC systems, while keeping the original footprint of the house.  I've added lots of color, storage, wallpaper, and finishes.  I installed a state of the art audio visual system with speakers and zones for music throughout the space - inside and outdoors.  The furnishings are a mix of new items, antique pieces, Round Top finds, original art, and things I've been collecting over my life.

Modern Media Suite

The highlight of this project is the incredible custom designed Suspenders Light fixture by Sonneman.  It takes on the role of lighting and art.  The ceiling and TV wall were faux painted with venetian plaster to mimic concrete and black-out solar shades are mounted in hidden compartments for movie viewing.  The Powder Room walls are covered with solid Neolith slabs, giving the space a clean, modern feel.  The custom mirror appears to be floating off the wall with LED lights around the back edge.

Townhouse Transformation

We renovated almost every corner of this house during this project.  The first meeting was in May, and the homeowners moved back in at Thanksgiving.  Actual construction time was 90 days.  We completely renovated the kitchen down to the studs, gutted and revamped the master bathroom, and gave a dated powder room a much needed update.  The SPD+B team also installed wood floors throughout the home, updated the staircase, added much needed LED recessed lighting, and painted the entire interior.

Hill Country Dreaming

Hill Country Dreaming was a designer's dream!  The home was built in 2013 and was later purchased by our client.  The Stacy Paulson Design team was enlisted to fill the space with beautiful yet durable furnishings and rugs.  This house serves as a retreat for our client's family and friends.  This project took 6 months from conception to the last delivery.  We managed every aspect of this project from start to finish - floor plans, furniture sourcing, customization options, fabric selections, rugs and placement, delivery and installation, down to the last styling detail.  Enjoy!

Redbud Rebuild

Redbud Rebuild was a 2 year project.  Stacy Paulson Design was brought into the project in as Designer and Project Manager.  We worked closely with the architect, builder, and landscape team, acting as the owner's advocate.  This home was enlarged from 1500 square feet to over 2700 square feet.  We designed and delivered all of the interiors from furniture,  rugs,  plants,  art, and accessories.  We hand selected every finish - wood floor species and color, tile and grout color, paint colors and finishes, light fixtures... the list goes on and on.  The is our client's primary home.  Please click here for before photos.

Downtown Eclectic

Downtown Eclectic was a FUN project!  The Stacy Paulson Design team was brought in to select finishes throughout this condo and complete the interior furnishings.  This client has a stunning art collection that demanded to be the focus of the living space.  We carefully selected paint colors, light fixtures, furniture items, and rugs from the colors in the various art pieces throughout the home.  The end result is a light and airy, sophisticated, eclectic home perfect for entertaining friends and family. This project lasted 6 months from initial meeting to completion.
